Very insightful and truly aspirational. It was, without doubt, one of the best investments I could have made. -Ian-

These workshops are limited to 8 people to create a fun and intimate learning experience.
2010 Workshop: 19-21 February (FULLY BOOKED)
Join us for a weekend workshop on shooting and editing techniques, based in the middle of the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons, on the border of England and Wales. Room, meals and drinks are included in the price of the workshop, offering a great opportunity to network and socialise with fellow videographers. Starting on Friday 19 February 2010, with an informal get-together evening and intensive training on Saturday and Sunday.
See some unconventional camera movement and setting techniques in action. Everyone is invited to bring along their filming kit. An excellent chance to get some truly amazing footage for your next demo-reel! The shooting techniques demonstrated during this workshop are best suited to hand-held (such as Sony PD-series, V1, Z-series, EX-series, Fx-series, Canon XHA1, XM, Panasonic HMC151, … and similar) rather then shoulder mounted broadcast cameras.

This is a great chance to explore some ideas and try out those shots you’ve always dreamed of. Locations will include (weather permittoing): “bride’s room”, nature setting, village setting. We’ll have Rob Burress from Shooting Hip as our resident photographer and we’ll demonstrate how to get the money shot while working alongside a photographer.
Coffee break and lunch are provided, the day concludes with an included dinner and drinks at the farm.
- 2nd day: Short shoot followed by a day of editing
Following a continental breakfast, we have another filming session with our bride, the day continues with a session on editing.
