Dianne & Christopher

We already featured Dianne & Christopher’s Wedding Day Edit on our main site, but I really wanted to add the highlights of their wedding at Ye Olde Bell too. They were supposed to get married in May 2006 but due to very unfortunate circumstances the wedding had to be postponed until September 15th last year.

During our prewedding meeting we clearly discussed what they would like and they gave us some ideas for music. Their style and music preferences are so close to ours, that this became one of the easiest weddings ever for me to edit. I loved every minute of it!

a Tuesday wedding

A Tuesday isn’t exactly the most common day to get married, but this is exactly what Katy & Robert chose. Amidst all the rainy days last summer, they managed to get married on one of the sunniest days in July. The ceremony was at St Francis Church in Bramley, Rotherham. Bearing in mind this was a Tuesday all their friends from the congregation had made it to the ceremony to share their special day, the church was more than full! After the ceremony, they had tea and cakes at the church before going on to Hassop Hall in Derbyshire for the reception. Katy and Robert made a small detour to have some gorgeous photographs taken near Chatsworth House.

Feels like getting married again

We recently went all the way to Orlando, Florida to attend the most awe-inspiring videography convention.

photo shoot

While we were there we got the chance to work with some of the best people in the industry and had the chance to be a bride & groom for a few hours. Julie Hill from Elysium Productions in California needed a couple for a video and photo shoot to help her out during one of her seminars. We gladly offered our help and had a blast! We almost felt like a real bride and groom again.

More photos from the shoot can be found here

Daniel Boswell from dvArtistry played the role of photographer.

I can’t wait to see what Julie will do with all the video footage!!!

Alka & Oliver

We met Alka a few years ago at one of our other weddings where she was a bridesmaid. We were thrilled that she wanted us to film her wedding too. Alka & Oliver’s wedding was back in August last year but we’ve only just had the time now to put some their video online. This was very culturally diverse wedding: part Indian, part Malasian, part Welsh, a Scottish ceilidh in the evening and the ceremony was at a Masonic Lodge.

Alka’s dress was stunning, the beading on it was incredibly detailed, unlike any dress I’ve seen before. This is why I decided to share the bride’s prep with you as it shows her dress at its best. I’ve also included the highlights just to entertain you.
